Don’t Miss All Our Great Nosotros, Los Otros Events

MIRA would like to give a big THANK YOU to all of you who came out to our 2nd Annual Art Show! We greatly appreciate your continued support. Don’t forget to attend our other “Nosotros, Los Otros” events!

  • Film Nights, November 29 and December 6 at 7:00pm. We will be showing “La Ciudad/The City” and “Welcome to Shelbyville” respectively. Learn more about what it means to be an immigrant in America. A follow-up discussion will follow each viewing.
  • Lecture/Discussion with Terrell Carter at 2pm, December 10. This local artist, educator and author will discuss “The Politics of Art”. You don’t want to miss this!

All events will take place at the Old North Restoration Group at 2700 North 14th Street and are free and open to the public.

It’s almost here!  MIRA’s 2nd Annual Art Exhibition is THIS FRIDAY!
Be sure to come out this Friday, November 18 at 6pm to the Old North Restoration Group at 2700 N. 14th Street to enjoy the

 incredible works of art by artists Carlos Barberena and Seitu Smith.

And don’t forget all the exciting events taking place at the gallery while the exhibition is showing!

Gallery Hours – Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (until 9 p.m. on Tuesday film nights) and Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Exhibit closed Thanksgiving weekend (Thursday through Sunday).
